Timber Pest Inspection (Pre-Purchase)

All our Timber Pest inspections follow the relevant Australian Standards. A Timber Pest Inspection is performed to detect timber pests in the premises being inspected. They come with a full written report and a Subterranean Termite Management Proposal if recommended. If you need a Building Inspection, we can arrange that too.

Termite Inspection

All our Termite inspections follow relevant Australian Standards. They come with a full written report and a Subterranean Termite Management Proposal if recommended.

Termite Dusting or Spot Treatment

Have you found active termites? Don't touch them, and call Evict-A-Bug as soon as possible.

We can treat the active termites with an approved chemical like Termidor Dust. Termidor Dust will not only eradicate Termites from where you have found them but will be carried by the Termites and passed on to others due to the way Termidor Dust works.

Complete control of the nest can be achieved if enough termites are treated properly.

Termite Management (Barrier)

Termite barriers can be either chemical or physical.

Physical barriers are normally installed at the building stage of a building. HomeGuard is a physical barrier that is impregnated with a chemical called Bifenthrin and is the chosen pre-construction product that Evict-A-bug use.

Chemical barriers are installed around existing buildings to help stop subterranean termites from entering the building. The main method of installing is through treating the soil around the building through trenching and flooding the soil with termiticide, then treating the soil as it is back filled into the trench. The soil can also be treated by drilling through concrete areas and then injecting termiticide through the hole into the soil below and then plugging the hole with a plastic plug. We recommend Termidor to use around your premises but we will use other termiticides, it's your choice. 

Evict-A-Bug will come to your premises and give you an obligation free quote to install a barrier around your building. Any chemical barrier installed by Evict-A-Bug have a life expectancy of up to 10 years depending on the termiticide used and the areas where it is used. They also come with various free service periods for your peace of mind.
